What is a Legacy Builder?
Legacy Builders are dedicated supporters who choose to include Passaic County Habitat for Humanity in their long-term charitable planning.
Through estate and planned giving, you can make a meaningful contribution using assets rather than your monthly income, creating a lasting impact without affecting your current budget.

As a Legacy Builder you can:
• Multiply your impact with stocks: Donate appreciated stocks or other securities to Passaic County Habitat. You avoid capital gains taxes and may also get tax deduction. This can mean a powerful increase in your personal legacy as a philanthropist.
• Transform your IRA: If you’re age 70 1/2 or older, you can give Passaic County Habitat a tax-free donation directly from your IRA or other qualified retirement plans. Eliminating taxes increases your impact on Habitat’s mission.
• Leave a lasting blueprint: Include Passaic County Habitat in your will: A simple bequest of a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your net estate can make a world of difference for future generations.
