What we do

Our impact in Passaic County

Passaic County Habitat for Humanity works in Passaic County, New Jersey — we have helped more than 355 families and built over 285 homes since 1984.

Passaic County Habitat works together with families, local communities, volunteers and partners from around New Jersey so that more people are able to live in affordable and safe homes. Our advocacy efforts focus on policy reform to remove systemic barriers preventing low-income and historically underserved families from accessing adequate, affordable shelter.

Build

We build affordable homes in partnership with families in need of a decent place to live. Since 1984, we have built 285 homes and served over 350 families.

Preserve

We help preserve homeownership through our Critical Home Repair Program. Critical systems that impact health and safety are repaired or replaced.

Advocate

We advocate to change policies and systems so that we can eliminate barriers to adequate, affordable housing.

ReStore

We operate a ReStore home improvement store in Wayne to generate revenue from donated home furnishings, furniture, and building supplies.
